The thought on whether life exists on Mars has often raised different views among people; some in support that Mars might support life and others against this opinion. Both arguments, however, are earned because of lack of certain evidence on whether life exists there or not. However, why do people consider on life existing on Mars and not the other planets? It is because of the planet’s closeness to earth and other important similarities. Space scientists have made several trips to Mars in a attempt to establish any hypothetical truth in Mars supporting life, only to come back empty-handed or with negative results. As a result, a section of scientists have deduced that Mars cannot support life because it lacks surface water. Similarly, unlike our planet, Mars lacks the magnetic pull, which is a quite important establishing direction with the aid of a compass.

Even though, the first breakthrough indicating that life exists on Mars came in 1996, when a Martian rock found in Antarctica presented structures of fossilized organic material. Finally, there is another meteorite, which also showed signs of leftovers of bacterial groups on it. Therefore, with such evidence these scientists are confident that life must be existing on Mars, and it is a matter of time before creating enough evidence. Despite these arguments, however, it is evident that if indeed there is life on Mars, then it must be at the beginning of evolution, or simply there is no life at all because this meteorite evidence might have resulted from corruption on reaching the earth’s
