I. Introduction A. Imagine being in hiding for 2 years and then being caught and taking to a camp and forced to work all because of where you are from. B. Have you ever been judged or looked at different because of the way you do things. C. The main purpose of my speech is to inform you about the life of Anne Frank and how her life became a legacy. D. I will begin with some history of the early life of Anne Frank. E. The life before and during her hiding F. How the family was betrayed and how she became a legacy. II. Body A. The early Life of Anne Frank
1.Born on June 12, 1929 in Frankfurt Germany where she lived most of her. Her Parents Otto and Edith Frank and one sister Margot. They later moved to Amsterdam where Otto received an offer to start a company.
2. The Family where Liberal Jews and did not observes all the customs and traditions. The children where very encouraged to read.
3.March 13,1933 Adolf Hitler’s Nazi Party won and that’s when the family fled to Amsterdam with about 300,000 other Jews.

B. Before and During the Hiding 1. Anne Frank received her diary, which was red and white-checkered cloth and had small lock, which she began to write in as soon as she got it. A lot of the entries where relate to mundane aspects of her life, and she talked about all the changes that had happened in the Netherlands since the German occupation. 2. She dreamed of being an actress. She loved to watch movies; Dutch Jews were forbidden access to watch movies. 3. July 1942 Margot Frank received a notice from Zentralstelle fur judische Auswanderung (central office for Jewish Emigration) ordering her to report to work camp. Otto Frank then decided the family with go into hiding above the Opekta’s premises. 4. Monday July 6,1942 the family moved into hiding, a secret annex.     They had spent two years of their life in the Secret Annex for all to come to end because they were found just weeks before the end of World War Two. Mr.Frank was the only one of the eight hiding to survive the camps. He later returned to the Annex and found Anne’s famous diary. Anne, Margot, and Mrs.Van Daan died in Bergen-Belsen.     Everybody was usually settled in for bed around 10:00pm. This is what Anne Frank and the seven other people did everyday while in hiding. Anne Frank would pass her time by writing in a diary she got for her thirteenth birthday, before they went into hiding. She would write entries each day and she would address them to an imaginary friend that she called Kitty.
