Amazon Rainforest Research Paper
The Amazon Rainforest is located in Brazil. It is famous for it’s Amazon River, which is the second largest river in the world behind the Nile River. But the main point about this essay is deforestation. Right at this moment the Amazon Rainforest is losing lots of things like it’s fine trees and the wildlife because group of people are making their living using the resources of the Amazon. I will talk about six groups in the Amazon Rainforest. Their names are Native Amazonians, Rubber Tappers, Loggers, Settlers, Cattle Ranchers, and Environmental Group. The first group’s that I will talk about are the groups that is causing the deforestation in the Amazon. These three group are called Loggers, Settlers, and Cattle Ranchers. The Loggers are using the Amazon Rainforest for its wood. They take it for lumber to build homes and paper for the schools. The Amazon Basin / Rainforest is the Largest Rainforest in the world. The Loggers can use wood not in the rainforest. They can use wood that is on the outside of the Amazon Rainforest and make wood from trees somewhere else. The Settlers can use land outside of the rainforest for farmland and not have the trees in the rainforest being cut down for farmland. The Cattle Ranchers can go other places in Brazil that is covered with grass and use that grass and feed their animals and still make money for the Brazilian Government. The Native Amazonians can keep protecting the Amazon Rainforest and keep peace with the other group. The Rubber Tapper’s can still take the rubber from the trees but take little as possible. And finally, the Environmental Group can use the things from the plants and the trees to make cures for patients around the world and find cures for disease for things that haven’t even been found on earth
