The Advantages of Living with Your Parents Most people only think of the disadvantages of living with your parents but, I always like to think on the advantages of living with your parents are that you do not have to pay the bills, you do not have to pay for all the groceries, and you do not have to go through your problems alone.
One advantage of living with your parents is that you don’t have to pay bills. Most parents have to pay multiple amounts of bills. Some bills are important to pay, such as the electricity bill, the water bills, and even the house payment. While there are other bills that aren’t as important, such as your cell phone bills. Most teens don’t think about how much their phone bill is going to be when they send a text message, but they will get a wakeup call when their parents shut their phone off.
Another advantage of living with your parents is that you do not have to worry about buying all those groceries every month. It can be expensive if you eat out all the time. So instead of spending money at McDonalds, you could take leftovers from dinner. It can be a hassle buying groceries all the time, especially for more than one person. The final advantage of living with you parents is that you do not have to go through your problems alone. Your parents are always going to be there for you no matter what. It does not matter how much trouble you get into, they will not love or care for you any less. For instance, when you get into your first car accident. Maybe even get a speeding ticket or maybe even get put in jail for the night. No matter what the situation is, your parents just want you to learn from your mistakes. They are always there if you ever need to talk about your problems because more than likely they have been through the same thing when they were
